Alt-Key Based Keyboard Shortcuts-Shortcut Keys (Windows 7)


In this article I’m going to help you guys with some basic Keyboard Shortcuts (Shortcut Keys in Windows). Using mouse to do all your stuff is outdated now and it is time consuming, ”especially for you guys reading this article, time is money”.  So to use computer to your best advantage and show some skills around use following “Shortcut keys”


Windows Key(Also Known as Logo key, FlagKey, Super Key) Based Shortcuts:
Ctrl-Key Based Keyboard Shortcuts-Shortcut Keys:
Alt-Key Based Keyboard Shortcuts-Shortcut Keys:
Alt Key
  • Alt + Space : Shortcut key for  “Main Window's System menu
  • Alt + underlined letter in menu: :- Shortcut key To “Hover the menu  (Click Down Arrow to Drop Down/Open)
  • Alt + Enter :- Shortcut key For "Properties for the selected object
  • Left ALT+  left SHIFT+ NUMLOCK  :- Shortcut key To “Toggle MouseKeys on and off
  • Left ALT+  left SHIFT+PRINT SCREEN  :- Shortcut key To “Toggle high contrast on and off
  • Alt + Tab  :- Shortcut key for “Switch between open programs
  • Alt + F4  :- Shortcut key for “Quit program
  • Alt +SHIFT KEY + Tab :- Shortcut key to “ Move through the Property tabs
  • Alt + Double Click  :- Shortcut key for “Displays properties
  • Alt + Down Arrow: -  Shortcut key for “Opens a drop-down Menu
