                                                When i hear about dowery

                                                This menace makes everyone sad

                                                And its effect are really bad

                                                I may say its a curse

                                                If it continued it will be wrose

                                                It has made marriage a business

                                                A business which is full of greed and meanness

                                                So people living in east and west

                                                Think this is a time of test

                                                And promise not to take rest

                                                Till you abolish this the level best

                                                Villians who want you to fail

                                                Let they be caught and sent to jail

                                                It is you and me who must act

                                                Charity begins at home its a fact".
