Understand Global Warming

Global Warming
Green house gases- Carbon Dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide and chlorofluorocarbons occur naturall in the atmosphere to absorb and hold heat from the sun and prevent it from escaping back into the space to keep earth's environment 33 Degree Celsius than it would otherwise be so that the life can evolve and flourish on earth.
However human activities and industrial processes have released substantially more greenhouse gases into the atmosphere particularly by burning fossil fuels, resulting in teh increased amount of heat being absorbed and raising temperature globally.
Global temperature are now 1 degree higher than that of 1900's and are expected to rise 4.5 degrees in this century.
The rising heat will melt the worlds polar ice caps, expand the deserts, raise the sea level, make several thousand species of plants and animals extinct and increase the severity and distribution of diseases.
